Florence may be best known for bistecca alla fiorentina and truffle-scented pastas, but finding truly fresh seafood in the city can be a great pleasure.
Just a short walk from our Abitazione in Le Cure, Il Piccolo Pescatore has been a local favourite for those in the know. Its owner, Olimpia, originally from Albania—a country with deep coastal traditions along the Adriatic and Ionian Seas—has made Florence home for many years. Together with Saverio, her warm and attentive maître d’, they offer a relaxed setting where the focus is on simply prepared, high-quality seafood.
Expect daily crudo, perfectly grilled catch, and seasonal pastas with the lightness and brightness of the Mediterranean. On our last visit, we had an exceptional fresh chitarra pasta with red mullet.
Guests of This Time Tomorrow Florence are always welcomed warmly—jut let us know you’d like a table and we’ll arrange the rest.
