Afternoon sweets

As the day’s warmth gently rises, so too do the soft aromas from the medina stalls and food markets. Follow your nose to the souks and sample some freshly baked Sfenj. Served hot and paired with mint tea, this classic Moroccan pastry is rooted in Berber and Jewish heritage – and mustn’t be missed. We have excellent ones at nearby Place Moukef. We will happily go and get some to enjoy on the roof terrace.
