The Harvest Conversation

On Via di Mezzo, a short walk from the Ponte Vecchio, Enoteca Pontevecchio works in Chianti Classico and Brunello di Montalcino. The staff know their cellar and are prepared to talk about it. The autumn season is when the new vintage enters the conversation and the previous good vintages are most seriously discussed. Worth an afternoon.
