From 20 to 28 November, the Marrakech International Film Festival returns for its 23rd edition, with red carpet evenings, masterclasses, and free public screenings in Jemaa el-Fnaa.

The festival has made Marrakech part of the international film calendar for more than two decades. The programme and the jury are announced closer to the date. The free screenings in Jemaa el-Fnaa are open to anyone, and they give the square an evening register it does not have at other times of year. Dinner reservations are worth making ahead that week.
