1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair: Celebrating African Creativity in Marrakech

Founded by Touria El Glaoui in 2013, 1-54 is the first and only international fair dedicated to contemporary African art, with editions in London, New York, and Marrakech. Named after the 54 countries of Africa, this groundbreaking event shines a global spotlight on African creativity and its diaspora, featuring leading galleries, artist talks, panel discussions, and special projects.

From January 30th, Marrakech will once again host this prestigious art fair, now a major highlight of the global art calendar. With works by over 80 artists from 15 countries showcased across two venues, and fringe exhibitions popping up in galleries throughout the city, the 1-54 fair transforms Marrakech into a hub of cultural exchange and artistic inspiration.
