In Between Blues

From January 24th to March 30th, 2026, the modernist halls of DaDa Marrakech become the setting for In Between Blues, an expansive cultural project presented in official partnership with the 1-54 Marrakech art fair. This collaboration places the exhibition at the very center of the contemporary African art market, serving as a sensory bridge between modern collectors and the ancestral traditions of the Maghreb.

Conceived by the ABLAKASSA platform — founded by designer Jean Servais Somian and curator Roger Niyigena Karera — the project orbits the ‘pigment of the soul’: blue. It is a carefully curated constellation of contemporary art, music, and gastronomy, all exploring the color as a symbol of connection, fluidity, and resilience. By moving beyond a traditional gallery format, the exhibition transforms art into an act of hospitality and spiritual transmission.
