"The most authentic and luxurious Riad renovation in the Medina."

In the very centre of one of the oldest parts of the medina resides our traditional Riad. It is a true oasis amidst the vibrancy of Marrakech, seamlessly blending ancient traditions with modern luxuries.
Taking its name from the Arabic word for shadows, it is a place defined by peace and privacy. Hidden behind large wooden doors, our five residences are dappled in sunlight, which weaves through courtyard palms and a gentle fountain. Step through our courtyard to your residence, and allow our resident curator to take you off-menu into the heart of Marrakech.

View details and bookOur vast rooftop has unbeatable views of the medina and Atlas mountains beyond. As gentle local music plays watch the sun disappear behind the minarets and discuss the day’s exploration.
Many of our residences have their own private loggia areas. A space to find some quiet time during the day or watch the shadows play across our courtyard.
Our traditional Chaharbagh courtyard is the heart of our Riad – four areas divided with care and attention by flowing water, nature and hand cut mosaic. A space where mornings are unapologetically candid, and stairwells are the new cafés.
Start or end your day in our kitchen, where you can raid the pantry throughout the day at your leisure. In this communal space our executive chef prepares traditional Moroccan or Middle Eastern dishes for your evening meal.
Unwind in our hammam and spa area, available for your private enjoyment, where raw aesthetics contrast with revitalising treatments. Redefine relaxation in our hideaway.
Each bathroom in our Riad is designed to provide a sanctuary after (or before) days exploring the Medina. Tri-coloured marble floors and silver tiles provide a tranquil environment to unwind or plot.
A spacious, multi-levelled terrace with unbeatable views under olive trees and blossoming bougainvilleas. Enjoy gentle local music by candlelight, and watch as the sun disappears behind a puzzle of rooftop minarets and the distant Atlas Mountains, or find a quiet corner under canvas to discuss the day’s exploration.
The heart of our Riad houses a traditional Charbagh courtyard – four areas divided with care and attention by flowing water, nature and hand cut marble.
There is no finer start to the day than wandering downstairs to discover freshly baked pastries, and of course, a pot of fresh Moroccan coffee. In this communal kitchen our executive chef will put on a fine breakfast every morning, while preparing Moroccan and Middle Eastern delicacies by night. One dinner is available on a chosen night of your stay, and the pantry is always open for late-night raiding.
Take your time to relax and refresh in our private hammam and spa area. With revitalising steam rooms and dry spaces or the option to book a treatment, here you can enjoy some true private time and perhaps the calmest tea this city has to offer.
The energy of the nearby medina brings itself to the liveliest room in the Dar Al Dall. This communal dining room on the ground floor, with its large mirrored wall, is the space to enjoy a group meal on the long table. Or find some quiet time during the day, with the trickle of the nearby courtyard fountain accompanying that book you’ve just found on the shelf.
If our rooftop is a high-spirited spot of music and views, the living room is the perfect space to enjoy an evening spent by the crackling fire and vintage rug. With walls full of photography each telling a story, and a good wine to let the evening carry on, you can relax in the happy knowledge that you're only one minute away from your residence and glorious king bed.
Tucked behind a grand arch and draped in intricate zelij, is our alkabouw. Here is an alcove in which one can lose whole afternoons, musing with friends, taking tea, and getting lost in the pages of a good novel. All set to the rhythm of the fountains of the courtyard and the perfumed scent of the gardens beyond.
Zangaki, A Beato, Abdullah freres and more
Throughout the building is an impressive collection of 135 albumen prints varying from iconic depictions of ancient monuments across Africa, to mysterious group portraits.
The albumen printing process is a delicate process so named as it involves coating a sheet of paper with albumen (egg white), making the paper’s surface smooth and glossy.

François Millon (1952-)
The textures of the city, the hard worn surface that gives the feeling of a life well lived.
Plm & Cie de Navigation Paquet
This original travel poster speaks to our love of travel, an energetic scene that surely inspired many to cross waters and explore new cultures.
François Millon (1952-)
The abstract rhythm of shapes echo the shadows of the city itself.
Abdelkarim Zenati (1943-)
A vivid portrait of local music from this Moroccan post-war and Contemporary artist.
Willy Weeks (1951- )

Paul Ackerman (1908-1981)
A quiet, symbolic work from Ackerman’s later period, a meditation on presence, passage, and the weight of light.
Mounted stones , shells, and crystals from the natural world
A curated series of mounted natural objects—stones, shells, crystals—appears throughout the rooms and public spaces. Framed or mounted like artefacts, these sculptural pieces evoke the spirit of 19th-century cabinets of curiosity, inviting quiet wonder.

Hello, I am Youssef and am looking forward to showing you the real Marrakech.
Our Riad brings to the fore the fundamental elements of classical riad architecture and their spatial and visual relationships.
Dar Al Dall is a large stately home brought back to life thanks to a careful seven-year refurbishment programme, combining the opulence and beauty of the past with the comfort and use of space of today.
Our Riad has been intentionally designed as an oasis of tranquillity, drawing inspiration from traditional riads and evoking the elegant hedonism of the ‘60s.
Moroccan craftsmanship unites with Zellige mosaics, wood carvings and characteristic arches to create a serene atmosphere, enhanced by warm, natural, yet slightly faded colour tones. Special attention was devoted to our bathrooms, each one a feature, integrating expansive space and light into elegant surroundings.
This Time Tomorrow’s curated stays immerse you in the soul of our cities. We are for those who pursue a life more ‘off menu’ where every stay is a story in motion.
